First process of laying out plans and blueprints | 10 Safar 1437H
November 21, 2015
My mind is rapidly processing information and laying out blue prints to motivate myself to explore new business opportunities
This is an ongoing joint venture project between Luaskarya X BigKittyLove28 X Depitome here's our tagline
When Art and Eco Collides
FROM AN IDEA TO BEING GREEN
Our aim is creating products that are eco-friendly. Just a snip it.
2) Property Investment
I'm looking for those serious buyers who wants to make money out of buying low cost and auction houses in groups where we can let them and gain monthly income from it. I am going to organize a session this December 2015, I'll need to approach potential buyers once I come back from Perth.
I started the travelogue to feed my wanderlust at first but it turns out to be a good video editing business and I placed it under Farbeat Solutions. At the same time, I hope to turn the travelogue series to a fully functioning unique tourism business In sha Allah.
4) Delivery Service in UTM Skudai
This is not a food delivery service. It's a transportation service of car rent or transportating people to their destination within Johor Bahru. Anyone interested to join this business? Investors are welcomed!
Done listing a few plans that needs executions. Let's hope for the best!
Combating Mediocrity | 9 Safar 1437H
November 20, 2015
From Merriam-Webster the adjective, mediocre is defined as of only moderate quality; not very good and its noun, mediocrity is the quality or state of being mediocre. My businesses especially are stuck in this level as well as my postgraduate research. I'm going to get through this because of this blog-like website. You know why, this site is for me to channel and write down all my ideas and thoughts with proper labeling. I think it is inevitable that my ears are quite better than my eyesight. With the help of prescribed glasses, a quiz on Facebook said I have Pilot Vision.
Let's put an end to the nonsense and try to switch off the Attention-Deficit-Disorder (ADD) syndrome for a bit. I can be a focused person if I put my heart into it, I just need to ignite the spark back and let it sync with my brain. I was a scriptwriter for 4 years during high school and this made me love to write this way. I'll try to write in Malay and French when I'm ready for this blog-like website. 1 ASEAN Entreprenuer Summit (1AES) mark the fact that I'm making my first step to leave this mediocrity by meeting people from ASEAN countries to mingle, to start investing, to get funds and ideas from them.
[Un] The first start-up that I've mingled with is Cropital Enterprises, Corporation from the Philippines and Malaysian Global Innovation and Creativity Centre (MaGIC) have . Their tagline was "Grow your money. Help our farmers". I actually participated in this event mainly to find funding and expansion but this fellow here just opened up his booth with a smile on his face and wanted to explain about his start-up business which is already funded by many.
My first thought, what makes him so eager to share his work and finding me as a potential investor cross his mind? He later explained that his business links investors with farmers. I was kind of sceptical and then he somehow explained the minimum funding would be 100USD and these 3 main step.
a) Backers select farm to fund
b) Improve farmer produce through resources & experts (by funding them in a)
c) Backers gains returns after harvest
So I asked him on the Return of Investment (ROI), he said it's usually 6 months depending on which crops funded so. So I said to myself, this start-up sounds awesome and I can expand my investment internationally. Freaking awesome man. Oh, this is the link to their website www.cropital.com
[Deux] Then, I saw a Maybank sign with a crowd funding element. So I asked the guy standing there, I have these businesses and to cut short he was listening carefully. But at the end he said, is your business registered in Singapore, because we are based there. I thought I was a goner, then answered my businesses are based in Malaysia. That guy smiled and said, you easily register your business in Singapore online. I was like " I don't have to go there? Just google ACRA. Here's the link https://www.acra.gov.sg/home/. I have been under the coconut shell for too long. Good thing my friend asked me to join this event to snap my ego and routine in half.
[Trois] I went into a hall full of audience and sat down obviously. Sasha Strauss was delivering his speech for 15 minutes and used only his drawings as slides. Fascinating creature I presumed. Turns out he is actually the Managing Director, Innovation Protocol + Graduate Professor at UCLA, USC, & UCI | USA with ADD during his childhood years.
The 3 crucial points of his speech were
The fundamental keys of building your life which generally can be applied to your business.
[Quarte, Cinq, Six et Sept] Oh we can also open a business in the Philippines easily. Here's the site link www.brns.dti.gov.ph/web/guest/registration (4) and found a new local crowd funding organisation in which recently ventured to Malaysia from Singapore named Crowdo. Here's the link as well investment.crowdo.com (5). The first thing I saw was our government support for Young Entrepreneurs through Prosper Program from Perbadanan Usahawan Nasional Berhad (6). Lastly, I just randomly asked someone from MaGIC on stuff, told her about my business and pitch an idea for SE. Oh, by the way MaGIC offers classes as well for entrepreneur. This event is more focus on ASEAN Centre of Entrepreneurship (ACE) ace.mymagic.my (7)
Today was definitely a good day from the day before as I have to progress in that manner consistently from now onwards.
